6.) Status Report!

Where the h*ll did I go for a week

Well, see, it’s like this:

It just rained…every day….for a freakin’ week.

I’d gotten to the point where 90% of the plants I needed to keep were dug up and relocated in some way. Then there was just rain and more rain. I kept thinking “a little bit every few days is good, this is just stupid.” We need to send some of that rain to the west coast.

The other aspect of this was exactly what I was going to use to make the patio. Was it going to be poured cement? Pavers? Bricks? Also installing the door in the back of the garage…. Everything was thwarted by the rain.

I ended up deciding on a pea gravel patio with a sealant called Klingstone. I have bags and bags of pea gravel left over from a landscaping job that my hubby did. It’s just sitting here so I won’t have to buy much more to make that happen. It comes down to me just doing the damn work.

Oh and this weekend?

Due to freakin rain again.
